Council action is requested to issue purchase order for $52,813.68 to Platinum Roofing for replacement of the metal roof on the Carriage House (Barn) at the Bingham Waggoner Estate for the Parks|Recreation|Tourism Department.

The metal roofing on the Carriage House, at the Bingham Waggoner Estate, is leaking and deteriorated beyond repair.  This quote is to remove and replace the metal roof.  This quote uses the Gordian Sourcewell ezIQC contract KS-E-R01-111319-PLR.

Per section 8.06.004, Paragraph 4 of the City Code states competitive bidding is not required when purchases are made through a cooperative contract established by a government purchasing entity or cooperative. The cooperative bids used will have been established pursuant to RSMo. 70.220 or generally accepted governmental purchasing practices through the competitive bidding process.

Approval of this item shall authorize change orders up to a total of ten (10) percent of the authorized amount, provided appropriations are available.

The fiscal impact to the city is $52,813.68.  Capital Projects in the 2023-2024 proposed budget, for the Tourism Fund, on page 100, account number (0047004-5406 project 041902-C) Capital Projects.
