Agenda Title:

20-077 - 2R.  An ordinance adopting amendments to the Fiscal Year 2019- 2020 Budget, which was approved by Ordinance No. 19017. Appropriation ordinances may receive two readings and be voted on at the same meeting.

Staff recommends approval of this item.
Executive Summary:

The purpose of this ordinance is to appropriate revenues that have been received and make any necessary changes and transfers since the FY 19/20 budget was adopted. This ordinance provides all clean-up necessary to close out the fiscal year.
Background:

An ordinance increasing appropriations in the amount of $851,603.86 in the Grants Fund; $61,893.54 in the Animal Shelter Use Tax Fund; $1,550.00 in the Parks Improvement Sales Tax Fund; $10,352.42 in the Central Garage Fund; $243,469.64 in the Sanitary Sewer Fund; $25,439.00 in the Independence Square Benefit District Fund; $118.00 in the License Surcharge Fund; $2,436,962.00 in the Staywell Fund; $4,825,627.00 in the Work Comp Fund; $2,140,755.00 in the Risk Management Fund; $552,631.00 in the ERP Fund; $408,438.00 in the Street Improvement Capital Project Fund; $9,029,149 in the CID and TIF Funds; transferring $1,181,491.17 between projects within the Street Improvement Sales Tax Fund; and, transferring $175,000.00 from the General Fund to the Capital Project Fund.


Fiscal Impact:

Increases appropriations in various budgetary funds. There will not be any new fiscal impacts since the expenditures have already taken place in the prior fiscal year. The purpose of the appropriation is for year-end reporting.
