Executive Summary: The First step in the City's 2021-2022 budget preparation is to refine the General Fund five-year financial forecast. The forecast is a high level look at the City's operational plans over several years. A forecast helps identify any structural imbalances between the sources and uses. In the forecast, all similar revenues and expenditures are grouped together and projected using financial assumptions. This presentation will give the governing body an overview of the main financial drivers of the upcoming 2021-2022 budget process.
