The City received an additional $478,943 of CDBG-CV funding allocated by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act approved March 27,2020. CDBG-CV funding has been used to supplement funding requests for local non-profit agencies that provide food, rent and utility assistance; public transportation; and administration.
This ordinance seeks to amend the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan for Program Year 45 and make an amendment to the 2017-21 Consolidated Plan to increase the amount of funds available for rental assistance for low- and moderate-income individuals by $184,533.
The Annual Action Plan and the 5-year Consolidated Plan are required to be amended to account for these changes.
