20-816 - A resolution amending the Pay Plan for Non-Represented City Employees as enumerated herein on and after the 21st day of December 2020; add Public Health Epidemiologist (Level 9); add Public Health Manager (Level 13); add Public Health Response Planner (Level 9); add Public Health Specialist (Level 8); add Communicable Disease and Epidemiologist Supervisor (Level 13); add Public Health Nurse Level 9); reclassify Budget Analyst (Level 9) to Budget Manager (Level 13); add Vacant Building Specialist (Level 6).
Recommendations:

The following adjustments are recommended to the Pay Plan:
1. Adding Public Health Epidemiologist - Grade Level: Level 9
2. Adding Public Health Manager - Grade Level: Level 13
3. Adding Public Health Response Planner - Grade Level: Level 9
4. Adding Public Health Specialist - Grade Level: Level 8
5. Adding Communicable Disease and Epidemiologist Supervisor - Grade Level: Level 13
6. Adding Public Health Nurse - Grade Level: Level   9
7. Reclassifying Budget Analyst (Level 9) to Budget Manager (Level 13)
8. Adding Vacant Building Specialist - Grade Level: Level 6
Executive Summary:

Future recommended changes will be taken to Council on a quarterly basis, as needed.

Fiscal Impact:

The Fiscal Impact for the New Health Department Positions for the balance of the current Fiscal Year: $106,500 Account #(005- 4705 Health and Recreation Levy)

 

The Fiscal Impact for Vacant Building Specialist: approximately $60,000 (offset by program revenue deposited in Community Development account # 002-4411 in the general fund).

 

There is no Fiscal Impact for other adjustments.
