This amendment to the City’s Schedule of Fees would align the liquor license fees with those charged by the State of Missouri and the surrounding communities. Further, the fees would match the liquor license types proposed in the amendment to Chapter 2. |

The current liquor license fees were established several years ago. As part of the comprehensive review of the regulations in Chapter 2 of the City Code, staff reviewed the liquor license fees, aligned the fees to the liquor license types in the proposed amendment and compared the City’s fees to those charged by the State of Missouri and surrounding communities.
Most of the fees remained the same with the exception of the manufacturer and wholesale license types, retail package license type and the tasting permit. The manufacturer and wholesale license fee is proposed to be reduced, the retail package license fee is proposed to be increased, and the tasting permit fee is proposed to be reduced. The proposed fees are comparable to those fees charged by peer communities. |

Fiscal Impact:
The estimated fiscal impact to the City is approximately $9,000. The revenue from this service is deposited in Community Development account 4460 in the general fund.
