Approval is requested for a construction contract for the Bristol Drainage Improvements (Project No. 131902). The project includes, but is not limited to, 15 drainage structures, 1,173 feet of storm sewer pipe, 220 cubic yards of of earthwork, 308 square yards of concrete drives, 279 square yards of asphalt street, 534 linear feet of chain link fence, seeding, sodding, and erosion controls. |

Located in the Rock Creek Watershed, this project will address residential flooding along Cedar Avenue between 15th & 14th Streets then westerly to Home Avenue eventually draining to the railroad culvert west of Home. Before and during the design process, six homeowners reported to staff of flooding in their home. Once completed, this project will mitigate this problem.

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $638,738. Funding for Bristol Drainage Improvements (Project No. 131902) is included in the FY 2019 adopted budget, page number 146, account number 7013 5406. In addition to the sales tax, the City has received a Missouri Stormwater Grant in the amount of $123,327 to be used for the construction of this project.
