This ordinance would authorize the fee simple title acquisition for a project. The project will provide road realignment at the Ash and 24 Highway intersection with curb & gutter, sidewalks, street lights, and new signal. |

The 24 Highway Complete Streets Phase 2 (Project No. 112011) is a continuation of the 24 Highway Complete Streets Phase 1 from MO 291 to River Blvd. with improved intersections, access management, updated traffic signals and complete streets improvements. The one parcel is being acquired to construct a new alignment of the S. Ash Road/US 24 Highway intersection to remove this offset intersection at this location. This intersection realignment is included as a goal of the Fairmount District Planning Sustainable Places (PSP) plan. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is approximately $150,000. Funding for the 24 Hwy Complete Streets Phase 2 Project (112011) is included in the 2021-2022 budget, page 115, account number 7011-5406.
