Council action is requested by Municipal Services in order to purchase a service body truck to assist the Street Maintenance Sign Shop Division of Municipal Services in performing their daily tasks. |

The purchase of this new vehicle, which will be outfitted to meet the specific need of duties performed by the Sign Shop, will improve the efficiency and productivity of personnel by replacing an older box truck. The additional benefits of replacing the older vehicle include increased safety, lower maintenance costs, and improved fuel mileage.
The vehicle will be a 2022 Ford F-350 and will be purchased from Joe Machens Ford Lincoln DBA McLarty CMFO. |
