Agenda Title: Council action is requested to authorize the City Manager to approve a construction contract with Vance Brothers, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $74,932.56 authorizing future minor change orders not to exceed $7,500 and/or time extensions for the Pavement Maintenance Crack Filling Operations Project. (No. 112201).


Recommendations: Approval of this request is recommended.


Background: The project was competitively bid and there was one bid turned in for the project: Vance Brothers, Inc.: $74,932.56 Engineers Estimate: $76,898.00 Vance Brothers, Inc. has successfully completed other construction contracts for the City. Their bid is being recommended for approval of this contract. The Pavement Maintenance Crack Filling Operations Project (No. 112201) is part of the annual pavement preventative maintenance program. The project provides for constructing pavement maintenance, sealing, and crack filling for designated streets throughout the City.


Fiscal Impact: The fiscal impact to the City is $82,432.56. The Pavement Maintenance Roadway Seals Project (No. 112201) is included in the FY 2022 adopted budget, page number 90, account number 7011-5406.
