The project is a result of slope stability issues observed in Spring 2019. Wilson & Company were the original design engineers on this project and provided slope monitoring services and served as the engineering firm for slope mitigation. As geotechnical expertise is necessary to successfully complete this job, Wilson & Company will provide construction inspection services, to ensure that any uncompacted fill has been properly removed, and the slope reestablished to ensure future slope failure is avoided.
Wilson & company have successfully completed similar projects for the City in the past.
The Bison Park Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project (No. 302003) monitors and maintains slope stability at the Bison Park subdivision by removing unnecessary embankment, relocation of the existing retaining wall, and by relocating the infrastructure away from potentially unstable slopes. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $ 57,686.00. Funding for Bison Park Sanitary Sewer Improvements (Project No. 302003) is included in the 2020 adopted budget, page number 157, account number 7030 5406.
