Community Development has a need for abatement services due to code violations such as excessive vegetation, trash and rubbish, open storage, boarding up of windows and doors, etc. on private properties on which the property owner has failed to voluntarily comply after notification of the violation has been sent.
The Procurement Division issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Grounds Restoration & Abatement on September 23, 2021. One (1) response from Monaco Property Services (MPS) DBA MO TURF CARE was submitted for the RFP. The response was evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Evidence of experience & references with similar projects
• Applicable resources
• Compliance
• Price
MO TURF CARE currently provides this service. The City wishes to enter a contract with MO Turf for this service because they have a successful history of performing these services in the past.

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $150,00.00. Funding is included in the fiscal year 2021/22 adopted budget, page 78, account number E (4411-5226) Professional Services.
