21-828 - A resolution amending the Pay Plan for Non-Represented City Employees as enumerated herein on and after the 6th day of December 2021; reclassify Laboratory Assistant from Level 1 to Level 6; add Deputy City Manager (Executive 1); add Information Technology Supervisor (Level 14); reclassify Public Information Officer (Level 13) to Communications Manager (Level 15); reclassify Accounting Supervisor (Level 12) to Accounting Manager (Level 13); add Finance Operations Manager (Level 13); add Finance Treasury/Debt Manager (Level 13); add Finance Analyst (Level 10).

Recommendations:

The following adjustments are recommended to the Pay Plan:

  • Reclassify Laboratory Assistant from Level 1 to Level 6
  • Reclassify Public Information Officer (Level 13) to Communications Manager (Level 15)
  • Reclassify Accounting Supervisor (Level 12) to Accounting Manager (Level 13)
  • Add Deputy City Manager
  • Add Information Technology Supervisor
  • Add Finance Operations Manager
  • Add Finance Treasury/Debt Manager
  • Add Finance Analyst
Executive Summary:

Future recommended changes will be brought forward for consideration on a quarterly basis or as needed. 


Fiscal Impact:

All new or amended positions are included within the adopted 2021-2022 budget which will be included in the next quarterly budget amendment once the final estimated cost is determined.
