21-829 - A resolution amending the Personnel Policies and Procedures of the City of Independence, Missouri adding leave time for victims of domestic and sexual violence.

The Missouri Legislature recently adopted regulations requiring employers to provide unpaid leave from work for victims of domestic or sexual violence. The City's Personnel Board reviewed the attached Resolution amending the City's policy and procedures to add leave for this purpose and recommends approval.
