This action would approve a contract with Infrastructure Management Services for automated data collection and pavement condition surveying for streets in the amount of $199,700. The scope of service will include various locations across the entire City. |

The Automated Data Collection and Pavement Condition Survey for streets project provides for pavement surface scanning of the City’s Street network, and the data collection of Right-of-Way Assets consisting of sidewalks, curb ramps and street signs. The information gathered will be integrated into the City’s existing Geographic Information System (GIS) layers and software system (CityWorks).The information will also facilitate efforts to maintain asset inventory, analyze condition data, track maintenance and construction history, and conduct multiyear analyses to guide sound, defensible decisions about investment of available resources for pavement maintenance and rehabilitation. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $219,700. Funding for the Pavement Reassessment Project (No. 112207) is included in the FY21-22 adopted budget, page number 138, account number 7011-5406.
