The City issued purchase order 22000511 for $1,143,769.58, November, 2021, with Council approval for a Ladder Truck for the Fire Department. The original purchase specifications were written from a stock unit fire apparatus. After completing a pre-construction meeting, several items were identified that needed to be added and or deleted. This was done to continue consistency throughout the Fire Department’s fleet and the result is a change order with a price increase of $46,797.38, bringing the total cost of this unit to $1,190,566.96.
Approval of this item shall authorize change orders up to an additional ten (10) percent of the new total amount of the purchase order, provided appropriations are available. |

Fiscal Impact:
Fiscal Impact is $1,190,566.96. This is after a $25,000 discount for pre-payment of the invoice. $950,000 budgeted in the FY22 Adopted Budget Book, pg. 159
$240,566.96 is funded by ARP funds approved at Council 10/18/21.
