The Water Pollution Control Division of Municipal Services is in need of equipment to upgrade the telemetry at Rock Creek Pump Station, Rock Creek Excess Flow Station, Sugar Creek Pump Station, and Sugar Creek Excess Flow Station. The current controls equipment has reached its end of life per the manufacturer. Therefore, the current Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are no longer manufactured. The PLCs plays a vital role in automation of the stations. This upgrade would finalize the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Upgrades Capital Improvement Project for the Rock Creek Treatment Facility and associated pump stations. The standardization allows for minimal spare parts required for PLCs.
