The death of At-Large Councilmember At-Large Karen DeLuccie has created a vacancy on the Council. Section 2.8 of the Charter provides for a special election to fill vacancies when it is more than 15 months to the next general city election. The ordinance includes a timetable for activities leading up to the August 2, 2022 Special Primary Election and the November 8, 2022 Special General Election.
