Independence Power and Light (IPL) in requires 17 properties to be mowed to meet compliance with City Ordinances.
The Procurement Division issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for lawn care was issued on April 5, 2022. The ITB was published on the City's website through Public Purchase, the City's e-bidding provider, which notified 103 potential bidders; 5 accessed the ITB.
Two firms responded to the solicitation: Bettis Enterprises, Inc (Bettis) and DuPree Landscaping & Lawn Care LLC. Bettis received favorable references and is the lowest bid among competitive bidders. Staff recommends a contract award to Bettis. |

Fiscal Impact:
