The petition requests the imposition of a 1% sales tax within the boundaries of the district (see Exhibit B in petition) with revenues from the tax used reimburse the owner for eligible costs associated with capital improvements and maintenance (including but not limited to facade, parking lot, and signage improvements for the shopping center), administration and operations of the district, cleaning and maintenance to public areas, and additional improvements and services permitted in the Missouri Community Improvement District Act. The petition meets the requirement of the City's Economic Development Policy. |
