SHEDIGS IT, LLC has successfully completed other construction contracts for the city. Their bid is being recommended for approval of this contract.

The Jones Road at Mill Creek Culvert Replacement Project (No. 132203) will remove and replace the existing failed stormwater culvert at this location. The failure of this structure has caused utility lines to become exposed. Due to the emergency nature of this project, funding has been reprioritized from two other budgeted stormwater projects. These two projects are the Trenchless Technologies Project (No. 130508) and the Barnes Place Drainage Improvements Project (No. 131901).

The fiscal impact to the City is $520,247.20. Expense for the Jones Road at Mill Creek Culvert Replacement Project (No. 132203) will be paid by funding reallocation from the Trenchless Technologies Project (No. 130508) and the Barnes Place Drainage Improvements Project (No. 131901).  Funding for project No. 130508 is included in the FY 21-22 adopted budget, page number 138, account number 7013-5406, and funding for project No. 131901 is included in the FY 20-21 adopted budget, page number 90, account number 7013-5406.
