The resolution designates the Independence Power & Light Director as the Director of the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission’s (MJMEUC), dba Missouri Electric Commission, governing board and Deputy Director as the Alternate Director, replacing past incumbents, respectively.

MJMEUC is an organization which provides electric capacity and energy as well as energy marketing services to numerous cities, electric cooperatives, and municipal electric groups over a multi-state region of the Midwest. MJMEUC provides these services through either direct ownership of generating assets or through energy market sales and purchases. The business and affairs of the MJMEUC, dba Missouri Electric Commission is governed by their Board of Directors. The Board consists of one Director from each member municipality.
