Staff and the Personnel Board have been working over the past several months on updates to Article II (now Article I) of the Personnel Policies and Precedures Manual. The proposed Article I reflects the work of the Board, staff, and feedback of employees who attended the meetings. |

The Personnel Board recommended approval of the proposed changes at its May 13, 2022 meeting. |

Updates to Article I were done in compliance with the City Charter and the Personnel Polices and Precudures Manual. The Article reflects current federal and state employment laws and regulations as well as modern personnel best practices. |
