| | | | | | | | Background:
The Missouri Department of Transportation, Office of Highway Safety will fund enforcement activities for education and enforcement projects related to traffic problems. This grant (Project #23-154-AL-010) of $698,000.00 will fund overtime for DWI Enforcement projects and expenses for full time officers. The Police Department will have year-round Wolf Pack enforcement periods. Enforcement will focus on areas where habitual DWI arrests have been made and where alcohol-related crashes have occurred. It will also fund officers for Youth Alcohol Liquor Compliance Checks,. as well as the Highway Safety Holiday Impaired, Spring Impaired & DSOGPO Campaigns, which target impaired drivers. All of these projects will be conducted during the time period of October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023. |
