The City Council approved the Englewood Community Improvement District by ordinance on August 5, 2019. The approving ordinance provide that approval of the CID is subject to the execution of a cooperative agreement. This ordinance will approve a cooperative agreement between the City, the CID and the Englewood CID Board to implement the CID. |

The property owners within Englewood formed the Englewood Community Improvement District. The CID imposes a 1% sales tax within the boundaries of the CID. The sales tax revenues will be used for the administration, enforcement, and operation of the CID district. The operations of the district will have no direct impact on the City budget. |

Fiscal Impact:
The approval of this agreement will have no fiscal impact. District Revenue is deposited directly with the CID from the Missouri Department of Revenue.
