As a part of the Deferred Maintenance Program, this project will construct sidewalks in areas with high pedestrian traffic where relatively small gaps in sidewalks exist. This project will create continuity in our pedestrian facilities and meet significant deferred sidewalk needs. This project is the next phase of the sidewalks program. |

Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting (RIC) completed the topographic survey for the six locations:
1. Noland Road at 42nd Terrace intersection and Phillips 66 entrance to McDonald’s Entrance.
2. Noland Road from Walgreen’s entrance to Lynn Court.
3. 23rd Street at Swope Drive intersection.
4. 23rd Street from S Norwood Ave. to S Claremont Ave.
5. 23rd Street from Crysler Ave. to S Fuller Street.
6. Crysler and 43rd Street Intersection and Crysler Avenue from East 43rd Street to 40 Highway.
Staff reached out to RIC to provide professional services for the development of plans, specifications, and the engineer’s estimate for the project. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $65,509.40. Expenses for the Sidewalks Phase 2 Project (No. 112209) will be paid from the deferred maintenance project string 112209-C-Debt, account number 7011-5406.
