Approval of this ordinance will amend Ordinance No. 19226 with necessary design updates to the easement descriptions of Parcels 5 and 20 for the 24 Highway Complete Streets Phase 1 project (No. 111801). |

This will be the second amendment to Ordinance No. 19226. Originally passed on June 21, 2021, Ordinance No. 19226 authorized easement authority of 31 parcels necessary to construction for the 24 Highway Phase 1 project (No. 111801). On July 19, 2021, Ordinance No. 19234 added 65 additional parcels to the project for a total of 96 parcels. |

The 24 Highway Complete Streets Project (No. 111801) will provide new sidewalk, dedicated bike lane, curb & gutter, push button pedestrian signals, sidewalk ramps, street lighting improvements, storm sewer improvements, retaining walls, and street trees on the south side of US 24 Highway. Phase 1 of the project will extend from M-291 to River Boulevard. |
