| | | | | | | | Background:
The Pump Station requires 1,300 feet of fence, two 24-foot double swing gates, and one pedestrian gate. The current fences are out of compliance and require major repairs. 20 feet of brush clearing on both sides of the fence will be required for mowing and maintenance capabilities. On November 23rd, 2022, bids were opened for the Sugar Creek Pump Station Fencing project. The invitation to bid received two bids: Primetime Contracting Corp. $136,700, and C-R Fence $101,922. Staff believes the lowest and best bid is that provide by C-R Fence and requests Council approve the entry of a contract and purchase order to said vendor.
The project was bid on the e-procurement website, Public Purchase, that the city uses for solicitations. Invitation to Bid #22100 closed on November 23rd, 2022, with 62 firms being notified and 11 firms downloaded the invitation to bid.

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $101,922.00. Funding for the Sugar Creek Pump Station Fencing project was included in the fiscal 2023 adopted budget, account 7030-5406.
