The Transmission and Distribution Division of Power and Light is in need of pad mount Distribution Transformers to maintain power distribution to customers. An Emergency PO was entered due to the quote only being valid for 15 days due to the increasing prices and lead times for material. T & R Electric has a current reduced lead time of 36-58- weeks ARO on pad mount transformers that we are unable to acquire without extended lead times through our contracted vendor. Power & Light is currently experiencing about a 60–72-week lead time with the contracted supplier. Power & Light has done business with T & R Electric in the past and they are a known supplier that meets Power & Light’s transformer specifications. Their pricing is comparable to our contracted suppliers. PO 23000838 was entered for $529,881.00 to purchase 43 various size pad mount transformers.
