Approval of this ordinance will allow the City to enter a funding reimbursement agreement in the amount of $1,275,000 with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for the Historic Trails Phase 1 Project as part of the Federal Lands Access Program.
Funds spent on this project up to $1,275,000 are 100% reimbursable through this program. |

The Historic Trails Project will project will construct new concrete shared use trails, ADA-compliant ramps, and will tie into the Truman Connected and Square Streetscape projects. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $1,275,000. Funding for this project will be appropriated from the Street Sales Tax fund (7011-5406), and will be fully reimbursed through the Federal Lands Access Program with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.
