The Missouri Model Railroad Museum approached Parks, Recreation and Tourism staff seeking long-term facility space to operate a model railroad and train museum.
The National Frontier Trails Museum is in need of significant upgrades to both the facility and museum exhibits. The PRT Department has contracted with PGAV Architects complete a Tourism Master Plan and a National Frontier Trails Museum Master Plan to determine options for improvements. PGAV Architects concur that relocating NFTM to a new facility is a viable option while adding a new tourist attraction would be beneficial to the City. |
