Approval of this ordinance will allow the City to take ownership of this lift station, located in the Rockhill subdivision, which will promote future development in the surrounding area by increasing the accessibility to the City's sanitary sewer infrastructure. |

Staff had been approached by the Rockhill Home Owner's Association to take ownership of this lift station. The HOA has made improvements to bring the lift station up to current City standards. Staff are prepared to maintain this structure.
The fiscal impact to the City is based off of the annual average of cost to maintain and power similar structures. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is approximately $8,700 annually. Funding for Pump Station Maintenance and Improvements (No. 302103) is included in the FY 23 adopted budget, page number 176, account number 7030-5406.
