The Health and Animal Services Department has been provided an opportunity to receive funding for the National Council on Aging's COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccine Uptake Initiative Grant Program. This grant will provide for the reimbursement of qualified expenses up to $90,560 from April 28, 2023, through April 27, 2024. Qualified expenses will include staff time to conduct tailored outreach and hold clinics targeting older adults.
Council approval of this item will authorize appropriation and spending of these dollars, which will then be reimbursed by the National Council on Aging. There are no matching funds required for this grant. |
