Approval of this ordinance will enter the City into a grant agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban Development to receive $3,000,000 in funding toward the Square Streetscape project (no. 11902). |

This project will include narrowing lane widths, shifting some curb locations, and converting traffic around the historic courthouse to one-way traffic. The intersections will also be improved at all corners of the Square, providing bump-outs, plantings, and site amenities. The project compliments the bi-directional cycle track along Lexington Avenue and Main Street to be constructed as part of the Truman Connected, Phase 1 improvements project. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $3,000,000. This Revenue will be utilized by the Square Streetscape project (no. 111902) and deposited in account number 111902-C-7011-5406.
