The Municipal Services Department/Sewer Maintenance Division requires mowing services done to 38 different locations in the City during nine months out of the year.
The Procurement Division issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) #23039 on March 17, 2023, for Mowing Services. The ITB was published through the Public Purchase e-procurement website, which notified (70) potential bidders; (16) accessed the RFP. The invitation to bid was issued with 38 different locations that will be need to mowed throughout the City.
The ITB closed on April 7, 2023. Three (3) bids were received through Zambelli Lawn Care & Snow Removal LLC, Sevy Family Lawn LLC, and DLLC-DuPree Landscaping & Lawn Care LLC. After staff review, Zambelli’s bid was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bid.

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City in the 2024 Fiscal Year is $70,000. Funding for the mowing services is included in the fiscal year 2023-24 proposed budget, page 161, Storm Water Sales Tax Fund (13), account numbers (5215-5226, Professional Services, $40,000), and (5262-5226, Professional Services, $30,000) for mowing.
The fiscal impact to the City in the 2025 Fiscal Year is $70,000. Funding for the mowing services is in Storm Water Sales Tax Fund (13), account numbers (5215-5226, Professional Services, $40,000), and (5262-5226, Professional Services, $30,000) for mowing.
