Staff and members of the IBEW-WPC bargaining committee have been meeting for several months to negotiate a new work agreement. Features of the new agreement include:
Term of three years
- Three year term
- Reclassifications of certain positions.
- 3% wage increase in year 1, 3.25% increase in year 2, and 3% increase in year 3.
- Discontinuation of Longevity Pay beginning July 1, 2024, provided Longevity Pay is removed from the City's Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual by the conclusion of 2023.

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact of the agreement over the year-year term is projected to be $19,860,000, representing an increase of approximately $700,000. Funding for the IBEW-WPC CBA is included in the 2023-24 adopted budget, page 67, Sanitary Sewer Fund 030, account 5100 (Salary & Benefits). Funds will be budgeted in the same Fund and account for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 Fiscal Years.
