| | | | | | | | Background:
The Parks, Recreation, & Tourism Department requires mowing services at various PRT buildings plus various park locations in the City.
The Procurement Division issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) #21106 on December 6, 2021, for turf maintenance services. The ITB was published through the Public Purchase e-procurement website, which notified (38) potential bidders; (19) accessed the ITB. The invitation to bid was issued with 9 different locations that will be need to mowed throughout the City.
The ITB closed on December 20, 2021. Two (2) bids were received through Riley’s Complete Lawn Professionals and DLLC-DuPree Landscaping & Lawn Care LLC. After staff review, Riley’s Complete Lawn Professionals bid was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
Approval of this item authorizes change orders up to ten (10) percent of the authorized amount, providing appropriations are available.

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City in the 2024 Fiscal Year is $80,830.00. Funding for the mowing services is included in the fiscal year 2023-24 proposed budget, page 111, from 6041-5226, Professional Services, $40,000; page 112 from 6042-5240, Other Services, $2,500; page 113 from 6043-5204, Other Services, $1,330; page 115 from 6045-5240, Other Services, $8,000; page 118 from 6048-5240, Other Services, $11,000; page 123 from 6063-5226, Other Services, $9,000; and page 119 from 6049-5226, Other Services, $9,000.
