Executive Summary:
Approval of this ordinance will make necessary updates to the City Code by amending references to the former Water, Public Works, and Sewer and Storm Water Maintenance Departments which have been incorporated into the Municipal Services Department. This ordinance also incorporates changes to match the City Code to current practices of procurement policy, and separates the standards for construction and design from Chapter 20 of the City Code into a Design and Construction Manual which will be maintained and updated by City Staff in order to stay current with national standards. |
