In July 2023, the Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department secured HVS Convention, Sports & Entertainment Facilities Consulting (HVS) to assess the spending and economic impacts of the Kansas City Royals anticipated relocation away from Kauffman Stadium. The Study also includes estimated lost revenue to the City’s Transient Guest Tax fund.
This presentation will provide a summary of their report.
