This ordinance will increase appropriations in the amount of $6,592,485 in Governmental, Enterprise, Capital Project and Internal Service Funds; $642,506 in Grant Expenditures; $12,000,000 in CID, and Other Funds; and $123,210 in transfers from various funds for capital projects.

The majority of the increases in Governmental, Enterprise and Capital Project are due to higher-than-expected transfers out for PILOTS and purchase power in the Power and Light Fund.

It is at the request of the City's Bond Trustees that the city formally adopt the TIF expenditures in the annual budget process. Going forward, the TIF debt expenditures will be included in all future budget ordinances. 

Appropriations from General Fund Unassigned Fund Balances will result in an impact of $296,357. 

Appropriations from the Street Improvement Sales Tax Unassigned Fund balances will result in an impact of $10,858. 

Appropriations from the Sanitary Sewer Unassigned Fund balances will result in an impact of $4,176. 

Appropriations from the Stormwater Sales Tax Unassigned Fund balances will result in an impact of $3,759. 

Appropriations from the Fire Protection Sales Tax Unassigned Fund Balance will result in an impact of $58,060. 

Appropriations from the Staywell Unassigned Fund Balance will result in an impact of $591,000. 

Increased appropriations due to increased revenues and transfer of funds will result in $0 net impact.
