Council has requested an alternative proposal for one consultant, DKMT, to produce two strategic studies of IPL, one for a Cost/Benefit analysis of selling the utility, and one for a long-term operation and investment strategy of continued city ownership. |

Council previously directed that the two studies be separate and completed by two independent consultants. After reviewing the recommended proposals, it was recognized that there are necessary overlaps between the two studies and it could be beneficial to have a single consultant produce both. |
