Linaweaver Construction, Inc. has successfully and satisfactorily completed projects for the City in the past. Their bid is being recommended for approval of this contract. |
| | | | | | | | Background:
This contract provides for installation of new storm sewer in the general area of S. Raymond Street to the intersection of E. Sea Avenue, installing storm sewer along E. Sea Avenue from S. Raymond Street to S. Savage Street, installing storm sewer along Savage Street, installing gabion lined channel in the backyards of the houses between S. Savage Street and Saville Street, and installing a new reinforced concrete box at the downstream end of the channel. The project also includes realignment of sanitary sewer main and associated lateral transfers.
This contract will utilize both stormwater funding (131806) and sanitary sewer funding (302102) which are itemized and tracked separately. These fund commitments breakdown as follows:
Stormwater: $1,217,164.33
Sanitary: $268,426.67
The stormwater portion of this project is eligible for up to $1,000,000 in reimbursement from ARPA funds. |

Fiscal Impact:
The fiscal impact to the City is $1,634,150 including contingency. Funding for the Raymond, Harkless to Mills project (no. 131806 & 302102) is included in the FY 2021 adopted budget, page number 90, account numbers 131806-C-7016-5406 and 302102-C-7030-5406. This project is eligible for up to $1,000,000 in reimbursement from ARPA funds.
