Approval of this ordinance will authorize the City Manger to enter into a grant agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for the 23rd Street Sidewalk Project (No. 112111) to receive funds in the amount of $145,086.
This grant is an 80% match in federal funds. |

This project will construct new sidewalks and ramps, pedestrian signal upgrades, and street trees on both sides of 23rd Street (M-78) between Lee's Summit Road and M-291. |

The fiscal impact to the City is $145,086. The Revenue will be deposited in account 112111-C-7011-5406 in the Street Sales Tax Fund.
